Emergency

Dr Koekemoer’s practice opens at 8am and if need be, you can contact the rooms for an emergency appointment. For after hour emergencies please proceed to Roodepoort Flora Hospital’s emergency unit and have the nurse on duty contact Dr Koekemoer if necessary.

Issues which require emergency or acute paediatric care include persistent high fever, severe pale skin, bleeding, persistent vomiting, prolonged severe diarrhoea, acute pain, headache, persistent abdominal pain, seizures, noisy breathing, lethargy, severe restlessness, or anything else that may be out of the normal for your infant or child.
